SKYRIM SE INTERESTING NPCS CAUSING CRASHES MODS
Others continue to plague gamers to this day, especially if they start adding mods to the game. Some of Skyrim's bugs are unintentionally hilarious and have been left in by Bethesda, just for laughs. Does anyone know why it's not working? Or does anyone have a solution to enter the Winking Skeever without the game crashing? I've even tried to disable Helgen Reborn, so as to go back to the number of mods I've always used (it's my first time with it), but nothing, it still crashes. It's no secret that Skyrim is loaded with a host of problematic bugs that cause everything from crashing to graphical glitches and more.
And before anyone asks, yes, I'm using the correct RefID. I tried it on some vanilla characters, like Lisette and the two Vinius, but still nothing: the damn command won't work! I've even tried it on other characters that have nothing to do with the Winking Skeever but it JUST WON'T WORK! I have no idea why. But then I tried the command on Vincent (from Colorful Magic) and Kirginne (from Immersive wenches) but nothing! "moveto not found". Open your skyrimprefs.ini in notepad or any text editor (make sure Skyrim and Steam are both closed) and edit these lines: bSaveOnWait1 (change from 1 to 0) bSaveOnPause1 (change from 1 to 0) bSaveOnTravel1 (change from 1 to 0) bSaveOnRest1 (change from 1 to 0) Then save your ini and close it, now reload skyrim. I started this playthough and once again, I started moving the NPCs to me. In my previous playthroughs, I'd always use the "moveto player" command to slowly get some NPCs out of the Winking Skeever and everything was well. That wasn't fun but I also understand it's been a while so I fully expect things to be far more.
